These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of cover.ge(the “Site”) and the purchase of travel-insurance policies offered through it. By using the Site or buying a policy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Cover Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Georgia under identification code 445837435. You can reach us at info@cover.ge.

2. Our role - we are an agent, not the insurer

We act as an authorised insurance agent for JSC Insurance Company Unison(ID 404393152) (“Unison”), the insurer that underwrites every policy sold through the Site. The contract of insurance is between you and Unison. We are not a party to that contract and we do not assume any of the insurer's obligations, including the obligation to pay claims.

3. Eligibility

The Site sells short-term medical travel insurance for inbound visitors to Georgia. By placing an order you confirm that:

  • the policyholder (the person concluding the contract) is at least 18 years old, as required by Georgian law;
  • the information you provide about the policyholder and each insured traveller - including full names exactly as they appear on travel documents, dates of birth, passport details, dates of travel and contact details - is accurate, complete and up to date;
  • if you are buying a policy on behalf of other travellers, you are authorised to provide their personal data to us and to Unison for the purpose of issuing the policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you submit. Inaccurate data may result in a claim being declined by the insurer.

4. Quotes, prices and payment

  • All prices and coverage options are calculated by our servers from the rules and tariffs in force at the time the quote is generated. Prices shown anywhere on the Site that conflict with the server-calculated price are not binding.
  • Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the checkout page. Your bank or card issuer may apply conversion fees.
  • Payment is processed by an independent payment provider. We do not store full card data; please refer to the provider's own terms and privacy notice for how your payment data is handled.
  • A policy is issued only after payment has been received in full.

5. Issuance and delivery of the policy

After successful payment, we register the policy with Unison and email you:

  • a PDF certificate(“border card”) for each insured traveller;
  • a link to a personal page where the certificate can be re-downloaded.

The link includes a one-time security token. Anyone with the link can view the policy and the personal data on it - please do not share it.

If you do not receive the policy by email within a reasonable time after payment, contact us at info@cover.ge with your order details so we can re-issue it.

6. Insurance terms - read the policy

The cover, exclusions, claim procedure, hotline and territorial scope of your insurance are set out in the Unison Compulsory Tourist Insurance terms (issued under Decree No. 602 of the Government of Georgia, 26 December 2025). They are also attached to your policy certificate. The Unison policy terms - not these Terms of Use - govern coverage and claims. Read them before you buy.

Two timing rules in particular surprise people, so please note them:

  • Cover begins at 00:00 on the start dateshown on your policy - not at the moment of purchase. If you select today's date, you are not covered for events earlier today.
  • Events occurring within the first 6 hours after the policy is purchased are excluded, even if they fall inside your stated insurance period.

Claims are handled by Unison, not by us.

7. No cancellations or refunds

Once your order is paid and the policy is issued, the purchase is final. We do not offer cancellations, refunds, exchanges or credits, including (without limitation) where:

  • you change your travel plans, postpone or cancel your trip;
  • you are denied entry to Georgia, or your visa is refused;
  • you do not travel for any reason;
  • you bought the wrong dates, wrong number of travellers, or wrong coverage and did not correct the data before payment;
  • you find a cheaper policy elsewhere after purchase.

Before paying, please review your quote, traveller details and dates carefully. If you spot a mistake before payment, return to the previous step and correct it.

This clause applies to the insurance purchase itself, which is exempt from the 14-day distance-contract withdrawal right under Article 14(1) of the Law of Georgia on Protection of Consumer Rights.

It does not limit your right to a refund where we fail to perform - for example, where you paid but no policy was ever issued - and it does not affect any non-waivable right under Georgian consumer-protection law, nor any obligation Unison has under the policy itself (e.g. claim payouts).

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit false, misleading or third-party data without authorisation;
  • use the Site to commit fraud or money laundering;
  • attempt to bypass pricing, rate limits, or security controls;
  • scrape, copy or republish substantial portions of the Site, or use automated tools to interfere with its operation;
  • reverse-engineer or otherwise misuse our APIs, tokens or PDFs.

We may suspend access, cancel orders or void policies obtained in breach of this section.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site - including text, design, logos, images and code - is owned by Cover Solutions LLC or its licensors and is protected by Georgian and international intellectual-property law. The Unison name and policy wording belong to Unison. You may view and print the Site for personal, non-commercial use only.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We are not responsible for medical decisions, claim outcomes or any conduct of Unison, healthcare providers, or third-party payment providers.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by Georgian law, our total liability to you in connection with your use of the Site or any single policy is limited to the premium you paid for that policy. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (loss of profit, loss of opportunity, etc.).
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Georgian law (including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or for harm to life or health).

11. Personal data

We process personal data (yours and the travellers') to issue your policy, deliver it to you, support claims with Unison, comply with Georgian law and prevent fraud. Unison acts as the data controller for the policy record; we act as agent on its behalf for the data needed to issue the policy.

Full details - categories of data, legal bases, retention periods, your rights and how to exercise them - are in our Privacy Policy. For data questions, contact info@cover.ge.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Changes apply to orders placed after the update; the Terms in force at the time of your purchase continue to govern that purchase.

13. Complaints

If something goes wrong, please reach out - most issues can be resolved quickly:

  • About this website, your purchase, or policy delivery - email us at info@cover.ge. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
  • About the insurance itself, a claim, or medical care - contact Unison directly at complaints@unison.ge or the 24/7 hotline +995 32 2 991 991. Claims are handled by Unison.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Site are governed by the laws of Georgia. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute by good-faith negotiation. Failing that, the Tbilisi City Court has exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Language

These Terms are published in English and may be translated for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
