Frequently asked questions

Can I extend my policy more than once?

Yes. Extend as many times as you need by entering your policy number and email. The new end date must be after your current end date.

Does my border card change when I extend?

Extending issues a new policy covering the additional days - with its own PDF and border card, which you show at checkpoints for the rest of your stay. Your original policy remains on file for the dates it covered.

What if my policy has already expired?

An expired policy can't be extended - you'll need to buy a new one. Extend before the original end date to avoid any gap in coverage.

How is the extension fee calculated?

The extension is a new short policy covering just your extra days. You pay only for those days at Cover's standard daily rate.

Can I shorten my policy if I leave Georgia early?

No. Premiums are non-refundable, so unused days don't refund - but your existing policy stays fully valid for its original dates, so there's no need to do anything if you leave early.
